Introduction

The 21^st Scientific Conference of the Saudi Heart Association is the highlight of the events of the Saudi Heart Association to embody the goals of the organization in the field of Cardiovascular medicine. As a large number of local, regional and international cardiovascular professionals attend the conference, there is a huge opportunity for the exchange of scientific and medical expertise, and to develop the educational and training environment of the participating cardiovascular professionals.

SHA21 is coming as highlight of the major relentless development in the medical field in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. SHA 21 represents the cultural and medical movement that is receiving lots of care and attention from the Saudi government.

SHA 21 will provide discussions and lectures to cover the latest in the world of cardiovascular surgery.

It will cover interventional catheterization, pediatric heart surgery, adult heart surgery, echo and computerized axial cardiovascular, and perfusion.

Joint sessions with the American College of Cardiology and the Saudi Heart Association are a continuation of the cooperation of the two associations. Previous joint sessions were delivered in last annual conference of the American College of Cardiology in Orlando, Florida. Joint sessions with the European Society of Cardiology and the Saudi Heart Association will also be held as the first fruit of cooperation of the 2 societies.
